Get in the Christmas Spirit!

Each year, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, we welcome organizations and businesses to enter a float in our annual Christmas Parade! We tend to have 30+ entries and hundreds of families lining the joy-filled street of East Emma.

Entry Preparation

  • All parade participants are required to complete an entry form by 4:00 PM the day of the parade.
  • All vetted entries will be given a number to display on the passenger’s side
  • There is only ONE Santa and he is represented by last year’s President’s winner at the end of the parade. If the winner from the previous year does not provide a Santa, Rodeo staff will appoint one
  • An entry may not include any flags, insignia, banners, images, or content that includes profanity, lewdness, illegal drugs, violence, obscenity, hate, racism, or that is vulgar or sexually explicit, insulting or offensive to any ethnic, religious, political or other identifiable group or individual, or that may incite violence or other disruptive behaviors not conducive to the celebratory theme as determined by Rodeo of the Ozarks Personnel.
  • No floats over 14 Ft. tall
  • All entries must have lights
  • No performances, which will halt the parade’s movement will be allowed. Walking units must be able to sustain the parade’s tempo.

Judging/Line Up/Parade

  • All entries must be on the grounds at 4:45 PM. This will allow enough time to get entries lined up in an orderly fashion and allow the parade to begin on time. The parade leaves the Rodeo grounds at 6:00 PM. A representative of your group, business or organization will need to come into the office the day of the parade to get your parade number if you plan to be judged.
  • All floats will enter the grounds from the South entrance on Highway 265 and will form 3 lines in front of the office to depart from the Emma Street entrance.
  • Car clubs will stage on the Rodeo Grounds (Please call the office at 479-756-0464). Children may be dropped off at the Rodeo Grounds entering from the Parking Lot Entrance on Highway 265. Do not enter the Main Entrance on Emma Street.
